In fact, it was NABCEP that set the standards and administers the testing to ensure that everybody working in the field is up to speed. Those who pass the course will receive a certificate that states the recipient has all the basic knowledge they need to work with solar energy.

Now, Photovoltaic courses aren't only designed with engineers in mind. Because this is such a big shift in our energy sector and economy, it's important for many different aspects of industry to be knowledgeable about the new energy source.
