It is the big day. You have finally found yourself walking down the aisle. You are about to receive your diploma. It has not been an easy journey; four years in a public high school can feel like a prison sentence. You are finally on to brighter horizons and unexplored frontiers. All you know is that this day has been a long time coming. As you sit there holding your diploma waiting for the graduation ceremony to end, you begin to think. What are you going to do now? College? Get married? Get a job? Start a career? Move out? The world is opened unto to you. All you have to do is take the first step in any direction you choose. Graduating from high school leaves graduates at a turning point in life. Start a career or continue gaining an education. For people desiring to stay in school for at least another four years and gain an undergraduate degree, many upper-level jobs await them. Opportunities for those that feel content with a diploma are less glamorous, but might be worth it.
